A blog celebrating the love of food without killing your budget. A challenge to the every day cook to push their cooking skills to the limit and discover amazing culinary creations

Laura is a busy wife and new mother of one. Her love for cooking started at a very early age. She can remember when she was about seven-years-old, waking up early, pushing a chair against the kitchen counter and making her parents breakfast. Now while she can't attest to how good it was it was just the start of her love for preparing meals for others. It was more then enjoying the food itself, it was the anticipation of having someone take that first bite. To have someone who normally isn't too excited about meals, pacing back and forth in the kitchen begging to know if it is almost ready. Laura loves the challenge of encouraging someone who is afraid to cook or feels that they are not good at cooking, to believe in themselves enough to at least try.

Laura Hunter's childhood was unusual to say the least, living in and visiting other countries gave me opportunities to eat Bulgogi in Korea, Papusas in El Salvador, Beef Chow Fun in Hong Kong and so much more. Her pallet craved exotic flavors and fresh ingredients, but when she grew up she quickly discovered that unless she got smart about it, her love for food could be her financial downfall.
